How safe is the Zipline, really?

Smith Lake Zip Line Adventures is owned and operated by individuals who are dedicated to ensuring your safety first and foremost. All of our guides are all CPR and First Responder and High Rescue trained. We meet all ACCT and PRCA guidelines. Our course is constantly maintained to meet the highest standards and is regularly inspected by an outside ACCT certified inspector.  Ziplining is considered an extreme recreational activity and therefore we do require all guest to be equipped with specific safety equipment (full or half harnesses, lanyards, pulleys, helmets and gloves). The gear will be tightened to fit your body and then thoroughly inspected before you are ever hooked to a line. Please make note that some assistance may be required to ensure that all safety gear is up to code and there may be unintentional touching to the lower and/or upper extremities, waist area and/or head area when performing these safety checks on the gear. Overall, you are in extremely safe hands, and we take pride in putting your safety first.

03

Do I tip my guides?

However, Smith Lake Zip Lines and their staff will have the final say on any participant going out or continuing on a tour.

You will be required to sign a liability release form before going out on the tour. If you would like for us to email a copy to you, please call or email us your request. Minors must have a parent or guardian to sign this form. The minor must also sign the waiver.
